Meet Your Doctor
The doctor-patient relationship is the heart of everything we do.
Dr. Christina Highley
Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician
Dr. Christina Highley is an Oklahoma native who grew up in Northwest Oklahoma City. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Oklahoma — where she was named Outstanding Graduating Senior — and her Doctor of Medicine from OU Health Sciences Center. She also holds a Certificate in Public Health from OU. She completed her Family Medicine internship and residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in Monroe, Louisiana, and has been board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine since 2017.
For nearly eight years, Dr. Highley served as a Family Medicine physician and Medical Director at a local hospital outpatient clinic, where she oversaw three nurse practitioners and provided comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages. She has been recognized for her commitment to compassionate medicine through her membership in the Gold Humanism Honor Society and is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the Oklahoma State Medical Association.
After years in the insurance-based system, Dr. Highley found herself spending more time on paperwork, chasing referrals, and being pushed to see more patients in less time than she spent actually caring for people. It wasn't why she became a doctor. Direct Primary Care gave her the chance to practice the way she always wanted to — with enough time to listen, space to be thorough, and a focus on the person sitting in front of her, not the paperwork piling up behind her. She started Community Primary Care to bring healthcare back to what it should be.
When she's not at the clinic, Dr. Highley is home with her husband and their two sons. She has a long history of giving back to her community, including volunteer work with Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity, Feed the Children, and Citizens Caring for Children. She's an Oklahoman through and through — rooted in the community she serves.
Our Mission
Community Primary Care exists to bring healthcare back to what it should be — personal, accessible, and centered on you. We believe your doctor should know your name, your story, and your goals. By keeping our practice small and our focus entirely on you, we provide the kind of unhurried, thorough care that builds real trust and real results. This is medicine the way it was meant to be practiced.
